Thank you so much for praying for us this week. We are so very very grateful. We've gotten so many encouraging texts and e-mails in the past several days. What a blessing they've been. We may not be able to respond to every one, but we did want to give you a quick update.
Tim was not able to start his chemo treatment today as we originally thought he would. He had to have some additional CTs run yesterday because there are a couple of health concerns that his doctor wanted to follow up on before Tim begins treatment. The initial report from those CTs were encouraging. We praise the Lord for that. We are scheduled to have a follow-up visit with doctors on Tuesday.
He did get his chemo port put in this morning which is an outpatient surgical procedure. We left early this morning and got back home around 2 pm. This will lessen his discomfort when taking treatment and spare his veins from being damaged from the medicines. He's has a good day of rest and feeling well.
