Well, Passion 07 was all that we expected...and more. God was present and powerful in the worship and the teaching. Lets just say the 22000 college students that were there brought a bit of "energy" into the room. It felt like God had a hammer at some points. It was electrifying. It was humbling. It was meaningful. There was amazing celebration. There was stillness. There was laughter. There was tears of
repentance. There was profound and clear teaching and heartfelt worship. Passion 07 was a
re centering, recalibrating, and reorienting time for me. God was and is Gracious.

It was awesome for me personally to have Lynnette and Levi with me in Atlanta. Levi was able to check out a few of the main sessions. I've posted a photo (above) of him getting busy with Chris Tomlin. He was totally into it....until he went to sleep. Can someone please explain to me how it is possible for this child to go to sleep with 22000 people singing at the top of their lungs and the band pushing
decibel levels over 100? He was actually snoring. Clean conscience for sure. The Passion family was gracious as they even gave Levi "credentials" with his name on it. That's all access with that smile! It really was good to be together as a family over these days.
My community group (the Pink stripes) was "off the hook"
good. Shane Barnard

and I had a great time ministering together
through the Book of
Colossians. We talked about the supremacy of Jesus in all things (He
is holding all things together) and what it means for us be "in Christ". Words can't express our sense of how God was graciously giving us favor. Thanks for praying for us.
One of the most exciting things about Passion 07 was that Louie revealed the vision for the next season. Get ready...Passion is going global! The heart of the leadership is to take Passion on the road to multiple world cities over the next 18 to 20 months. Gods heart is for the nations. I'm excited to see how God continues to expand His name through this ministry. The messages should be available from the Passion Store in about a month. Get them. Beth Moore, John Piper, Louie
Giglio and Frances Chan all brought excellent words. Pipers message on Wed morning was one of the most shame shattering words that I have ever heard.
